Chinese medicine – more than «just» acupuncture

Chinese medicine is over 4,000 years old and is an experiential medicine. It was developed through observation of Nature and practical applications, which were refined over years.

The underlying philosophy is based on philosophical as well as on spiritual
principals. Illness – physical and psychological – according to Chinese medicine is an imbalance of energies. This imbalance is caused by inner and outer influences. The goal of the therapy is to bring the energies back to harmony and balance.

The key disciplines of Chinese medicine are: Tuina, Qi Gong, acupuncture, Chinese herbs and 5-element-nutrition.

Besides questioning, tongue- and pulse-diagnosis are the main resources to gain a comprehensive diagnosis.
